Daylight Standard Time Parking Enforcement
Each year as we enter Daylight Standard Time we experience darkness at earlier times. In order to promote safety on campus, the Parking Department changes enforcement hours to allow access to academic facilities and libraries during lighter hours.

Beginning Monday, November 7, 2011 University of Illinois parking lots and garages will end enforcement at 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Parking meters in parking lots will be enforced until 4:00pm as well. All parking meters on streets will continue to be enforced until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. All parking facilities remain NO PARKING from 2:00am to 6:00am daily.

In March, when Daylight Savings Time commences, the enforcement hours will revert back to the previous 5:00pm enforcement hours.
