Permits and Shuttle Permits are available to purchase in a 12-month time period for all students not qualified to receive a Faculty/Staff Permit. A permit is an authorization issued by the Parking Department for parking a vehicle on campus for a specified length of time.
Students include full-time, part-time, daytime, evening, and weekend University of Illinois students, and students of any other institutions leasing land or facilities on the Urbana campus (per Rules & Regulations, Section II-Z).
Student permits and student shuttle permits are virtual, linked to the license plates on your account. You will not receive a physical permit to display in your vehicle.
