Student Permits

Student permits and student shuttle permits are available to purchase in a 12-month time period for all students not qualified to receive a Faculty/Staff Permit. A permit is an authorization issued by the Parking Department for parking a vehicle on campus for a specified length of time.

Students include full-time, part-time, daytime, evening, and weekend University of Illinois students, and students of any other institutions leasing land or facilities on the Urbana campus. 

Student permits and student shuttle permits are virtual, linked to the license plates on your account. You will not receive a physical permit to display in your vehicle.
