Electric vehicle (EV) charging is now available for University of Illinois faculty, staff, students and guests. Duplex receptacles are available for electric vehicle use at designated electric vehicle charging locations in the parking garages, these are for charging use only. Once charge is complete please relocate to a vacant parking space. If parking and charging outside electric vehicle charging locations, you may be cited.
LEVEL 1 CHARGING SPACES
Limited designated parking spaces with outlets for Level 1 charging can be found across campus. There is no charging fee associated with Level 1 charging; standard parking rates apply.

LEVEL 2 CHARGING SPACES
Currently we have six designated parking spaces designed for Level 2 charging. The charging session fee for Level 2 charging is $1.25/hour for the first four hours of service and $2.50/hour for each additional hour.
